Michele Miller joined Kensington Capital Advisors in the spring of 2008, bringing several years of legal experience in derivatives documentation to the team. She specializes in reviewing and negotiating the ISDA Schedule, Credit Support Annex, Confirmation and other documents related to derivatives transactions.
Ms. Miller began working as a negotiator when she joined the Capital Markets Documentation group at Bank of America, N.A. In her role there Ms. Miller was responsible for reviewing and negotiating ISDA Master Agreement Schedules and related documentation on behalf of the bank. She was also responsible for drafting and negotiating master give-up agreements for Bank of America’s FX Prime Brokerage group.
Prior to joining Bank of America in 2002, Ms. Miller practiced general civil law, focusing on commercial litigation, real estate transactions and tort litigation.
She graduated cum laude from the Northern Illinois University College of Law with a J.D. and also holds a B.A. in Mass Communication and Media Arts from Southern Illinois University. She is a member of the State Bar of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
